Women's Artistic Gymnastics

Baby Gym

The Baby Gym category is designed for the youngest gymnasts, aged between 3 and 4 years old. This stage focuses primarily on developing psychomotor skills, meaning improvements in coordination, balance, agility, and body awareness, through playful activities tailored to their age.

At this level, the basics of artistic gymnastics are introduced very gently, always with a focus on play, fun, and the enjoyment of movement. The gymnasts, under the supervision of specialized coaches, perform exercises that stimulate both their physical development and their creativity and body expression, helping them build confidence in themselves and in their ability to coordinate movements.

The atmosphere in Baby Gym is very welcoming and positive, giving the girls the opportunity to explore the world of gymnastics in a fun and safe way, while developing skills that will be useful in both sports and everyday life. Moreover, this stage is essential for establishing a solid foundation of physical and emotional development, allowing them to progress successfully to higher levels as they grow.

Biginners

Having a roster of gymnasts is essential for our sports project. Currently, this section is made up of 200 gymnasts, who train and grow within an environment designed for their athletic and personal development.

The roster not only feeds the technical training groups, but also represents a project with its own value, where many girls and young women find their space to practice and compete in the field of artistic gymnastics, while enjoying a positive, safe, and motivating environment.

Throughout the season, the gymnasts take part in three events organized by the Consell Escolar, competing with gymnasts from all over the Baix Llobregat. These events offer a great opportunity to put their learning into practice, improve their skills, and strengthen values like commitment, teamwork, and perseverance.

Our goal is to continue growing this roster, promoting sports and building a strong gymnastics community that serves as a benchmark both locally and beyond.

Federated School

The Federated School program represents the stage where technical skills start to solidify, and the work is focused on a long-term vision, both from a competitive and educational perspective.

This section combines playful learning with the perseverance and effort required by the discipline of artistic gymnastics. The aim is to promote the sporting growth of the gymnasts, while respecting their individual pace and enhancing their personal values, such as discipline, resilience, and self-confidence.

The gymnasts in the Federated School category compete across the region and have the opportunity to qualify for the Catalonia Championship, a sports challenge that reinforces their commitment and motivates them to continue progressing along their gymnastics journey.

This program is key to the future of the Club and a fundamental piece in the development of a high-performance sport with a strong foundation and educational values.

Base

The national success of these teams is an inspiring and motivating factor that encourages more girls to take up gymnastics.

The presence and recognition of our teams in high-level competitions help to raise the visibility of the sport and create female role models for the younger generations.

The grassroots teams of our club have always had a strong presence, competing both individually and as a team in the different stages of the Catalonia Championship and the Spanish Championship. The gymnasts display a high technical level, strong commitment, and genuine passion for the sport, achieving results that reflect rigorous work and the constant support of coaches, families, and the sports environment.

These milestones are not only a source of pride for the entire technical and sports team, but also reinforce the belief that grassroots sport is essential for the integral development of girls and young women. Sporting success matters, but even more important is the personal growth they experience along the way: learning values such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and resilience.

Olympic Pathway

Our club competes in the Second Division of the Iberdrola League of Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, the highest national category.

The Olympic Pathway is the high-performance category in artistic gymnastics, designed for gymnasts aiming to compete in international competitions and qualify for the Olympic Games. This level requires intensive, technical, and physical training, with preparation that covers every aspect of gymnastics—from physical conditioning to technical perfection. Gymnasts competing in the Olympic Pathway must meet specific requirements and reach high performance levels.

Our club is proud to have Olympic Pathway gymnasts, such as Alba Petisco, a member of the Spanish national team, who has competed in the Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and is one of the main figures in Spanish artistic gymnastics. She is also the absolute runner-up of Spain and one of the top gymnasts in the world.

Another key value of our club is the constant work in the development of Olympic Pathway gymnasts, who start competing in the top categories from a young age, with technical and human support to ensure every gymnast reaches her full potential.

Adults and Maintenance

The Adults and Maintenance categories are designed for those who wish to improve their physical fitness and health through gymnastics, regardless of their previous level. These categories are not only focused on maintaining physical condition, but also on improving flexibility, strength, and coordination through exercises adapted to individual needs and goals.

The training sessions are designed to be fun, dynamic, and inclusive, providing a space where adults can enhance their cardiovascular endurance, tone muscles, and work on posture. Through activities involving adapted artistic gymnastics movements, participants can also increase body awareness and relaxation, as well as prevent injuries through stretching and flexibility work.
