The Spanish Championships took place at the end of June, both in the Olympic Track and Grassroots categories. The first took place in Pamplona, where 16 gymnasts competed, and the second in Lleida, where 10 participated.
Alba Petisco won gold on vault and floor, silver on parallel bars, and third place overall in the senior category. This was her last championship before heading to the Olympic Games in Paris.
Martina Martín also won gold on vault, becoming the Spanish champion in the Grassroots 7 category and just missing out on the overall classification with a 4th place finish.
Other notable results included Ainhoa Bajaña's 5th place overall, 4th on floor and 5th on beam, 6-level, and Luna Cardozo, in the same category, with a 5th place finish on vault.
For some of our gymnasts, this was their first national experience, for others, their last. With this championship, our national team member, Paula Raya, ended her career as a gymnast, as did Adriana Moragas.
From the club, we wish you the best in your future endeavors!
